grauzone is a video effect which makes things vanish when they don’t move.
Things that move can be seen in real time, and be seen again as ghosts after an adjustable amount of time.
Seen at the “Rundgang” studentic art exhibiton at Kunsthochschule Berlin Weißensee, July 2015, presented as a time travel machine (middle frame) and as a possibility for advertisement (side frames).
We experimented with possible use cases for advertizing, detection of micro gestures, surveilance, games and potential artistic value.
