On 01.07. the vernissage for the exhibition “Buntes Rauschen” by Victor Giers will take place at 6:00 p.m. in the pop-up store in Buhlgässle presenting “Glitch Art”.
“Glitch” – that’s a program error, so to speak, a false statement of a logical circuit. Giers deliberately causes such errors in digital image display in order to alienate existing images in such a way that completely new images emerge from them. The result is colorful, abstract textures, which are presented and offered in the form of limited art prints on high-quality synthetic paper. There will also be real-time rendering, the calculation of such images in real time, projected onto a screen. It’s also possible to bring your own digital images to have them manipulated by the artist on site. There’ll be ambient electronic music. The exhibition is open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. until July 17th.
