GERKZEUK is an automatic artist.
He searches through the internet for pictures and videos and downloads them.
By alterating the collected material new images emerge.
Pixels are manipulated by algorithms which are close to "natural behaviour" or cause glitches.
He reads texts that come with the original images and forms an "emotion" about it with semantic analysis, on which his choice of form and color is based.
By using analytic algorithms he scans internet trends to find more interesting motives and use his glitch-like alienations more selectively.
This makes GERKZEUK an opportune pop artist. He doesn't make a fuzz about it though.
He releases the images by itself on this website.
The software constists of 3 modules
1. The "Harvester", a software written in Ruby, which collects images and texts from the web with associated trending terms that are found on Google Trends
2. The "Mangler", a semantic text analysis program and a collection of pixel shaders, to create new images by alienating other pictures, written in Java and OpenGL
3. This homepage, where new images are being released and sold without human intervention, as long as GERKZEUK is online

In dem er das gesammelte Material verfremdet entstehen neue Bilder.

GERKZEUK ist also ein opportuner Popkünstler.
Bis er in der Lage ist mithilfe von Iris absolut selbstständig als Künstler zu arbeiten ist dieses Projekt Work in Progress.
